Korea AeroSpace Administration

South Korea's national space agency, established on 27 May 2024 and headquartered in Sacheon. It is the central government body directing the country's civil space policy, research and exploration, consolidating functions previously spread across institutions; the Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute now operate under it. Its goals include expanding launch-vehicle and satellite capability and lunar exploration.
