Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

A Japanese heavy-machinery and engineering conglomerate listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (7011), with businesses spanning power generation, aircraft, ships, defence and aerospace. Through its launch-services business it manufactures and launches Japan's flagship H-IIA and next-generation H3 orbital rockets, and it builds major JAXA spacecraft. The company traces its origins to an 1884 Nagasaki shipyard; the present entity was established in 1950.
