A private Indian launch-vehicle company founded in 2018 by former ISRO engineers, developing the 'Vikram' family of small-satellite rockets. On 18 November 2022 its Vikram-S became the first privately developed Indian rocket to fly (suborbital), and on 18 July 2026 its four-stage Vikram-1 reached orbit from Sriharikota — making Skyroot the first private Indian company to launch a satellite to orbit.
