Two planets transit this faint red dwarf. The outer, Kepler-1649 c, was uncovered in 2020 in a careful re-analysis of Kepler data — nearly Earth's size and receiving about as much light as Earth does from the Sun, making it a standout among small habitable-zone worlds. Its size is measured; its mass is not.
