Kepler-452 — a yellow G2 star almost identical to the Sun (about 1.04 solar masses, 1.1 solar radii, 5,757 K), roughly 1,800 light-years away in Cygnus. A little older than the Sun, it is one of the closest solar analogues known to host a temperate, near-Earth-size planet.
